Free Reptile Shed Tracker — Printable & Bookmarkable

Shedding can be a useful indicator of a reptile’s condition and husbandry. A history of clean sheds, normal behavior around ecdysis, and appropriate shed cycles gives you a useful baseline for that individual animal.

Retained shed, unusually long cycles, or repeated incomplete sheds are worth paying attention to — and a simple log gives you a record to compare against: how long between sheds, whether the shed was complete, what the enclosure conditions were, and whether anything unusual happened. That information is useful when something changes, and easy to forget without a record.
