Water parameters change. Knowing what they were last week — or three weeks ago — is often more useful than knowing what they are right now.
A parameter log lets you spot trends before they become problems: nitrates climbing between water changes, pH gradually shifting, or an unexpected change in ammonia or nitrite. It also gives you a baseline to compare against when something looks off with your fish, shrimp, or coral.
